weekend in idaho...

I learned a lot this past weekend. One of the main things I learned was that Blackfoot has a Parade of Lights,
and I guess it's kind of a big deal. So me and Emily moseyed on down the road to Airport Park, along with a handful of other Blackfootians, where this "parade" would be going by any second...

any second now....

really... it's supposed to be coming....

We were getting a little antsy... Oh. Here it comes!!!

The "floats" or um er whatever were going by a little too fast for me to get a good picture. And after about 7 minutes of sweet lighted bliss, it was over. It was really cold too. But fun I guess. I mean it was either that or go to Wal*Mart. There were even horses at the end. And some cops.

The next day we caught the BYU vs. ISU game. I don't think they like us much there at that there ISU... but we had fun anyway :)

I'm counting down the days til Christmas!!!!!
(23 days)

It's times like that parade that you take really cool long exposure shots.

As part of the Blackfoot Electric Light Parade - I rode in the old truck with the Mayor and the vice-mayor (Ryan), I'm excited that you understand the spectacularness of the event. I'm disappointed that you didn't come to the bonfire and hot chocolate though. Last year's bonfire was much bigger and overall more awesome, but the hot chocolate was better this year. It's a fine line to balance. Anyway, I randomly saw your writings. Ask Michelle who I am, we used to date, or something like that.
