doug had a birthday, shout hooray

hard to believe it's already/only been a year since the first time i casually dropped doug's name in my blog. This year, his birthday fell on a sunday, so while we didn't play a game of tennis in which he let me win or ride our bikes clear the heck out to utah lake or play "the game" at red robin, he did get a cake this time!

we also watched the discovery channel special "Life" (in HD) thanks to blake and megan. it's amazing. i could watch it all day. and we played scum (doug never left the couch.) anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY fiance! (sorry, only have 3 weeks 6 days left to call him that. gotta get my money's worth...)
