once upon a time, about a week or two ago, my hair straightener (which i begged my mom to buy from this guy after seeing his amazing demo on home shopping network in spring of '05) decided to break after 5 years of faithful service. so, since then, i've let my hair dry naturally/awkwardly wavy, or i've spent the time to curl it. how annoying.
fast forward to today. i remembered that my hair dryer had a random "straightening" attachment that came with it. i don't really do attachments...i'm a tad bit skeptical, especially since my hair is so thick and uncooperative. but then i thought, what the heck? well guess what? it worked. that's all. good bye forever, flat irons!
[however i will say that my maxius worked better than any chi i've ever used, and you can take that to the bank! just ask lauren.]

She speaks truth. That Maxius was astounding. Power-wise, the chi vs the maxius is probably as comparable as a BMW to a semi-truck. The reputation vs the sheer power..... okay anyway I was actually just going to comment how cute the new blog layout was but I got sidetracked. what a surprise. you're getting married in two weeks YAYYY i even took work off for it
