cookies anyone?

I didn't even realize until the other day that Hershey doesn't really have much of a presence in the chocolate chip world compared to Nestle, and that I can't even recall ever using Hershey chocolate chips... ever. Naturally we had to research the matter... for Doug's job... and stuff...

Guess what? They taste so much better than Nestle! jk they taste the same. But Hershey also have the Reese's and Heath bits which are pretty good. Plus, I just remembered these little guys:

Before making the cookies we went to the beach (big surprise!) Check it out on Doug's blog, which he finally updated (bigger surprise!) Maybe if more people look at it he'll be inspired to update regularly... only time will tell.

P.S. I woke up today with the sudden urge to listen to Christmas music. This usually doesn't happen until at least October. What's happening to me?

When I make fudge at Christmas, I always have used Hershey's milk chocolate chips. (Along with Nestle's semi-sweet.) Hershey's always does milk chocolate better, while Nestle is the semi-sweet champ.
