seeing this picture reminds me not only of how happy i was that doug asked me to marry him, but also how happy i am that we are now far, far away from that blinding snow you see in the picture! here's to one year! and one heck of a sandwich.

one year ago today...
it was a saturday morning. i woke up early (for a saturday) and went to work for a few hours. which was okay, since i loved every second spent at ccf, even on saturday mornings. little did i know that moments after leaving work, doug would stop by and buy me a dozen roses. even littler did i know that he would then take me to buy me the best sandwich i've ever eaten. littlest did i know (that's my new phrase) that he would ask me to marry him!
