the help
i've been slowly listening to the audiobook of The Help for the past several weeks. i mostly listen while i'm doing housework, which is fitting. if ya know what i mean. anyway, doug and i listened to a big chunk of it on the way to and from santa cruz. (he loved it but he'll probably deny it.) i completely forgot it was being made into a movie until doug saw something about it last night at x-men*. (i lovvve getting to movies early enough for first look.) anyway, i hope the movie is as good as the three-fifths of the book i've read so far.

John loved that one too - I'm hoping the movie is good too - but it's hard to beat such a good book. Cindy

I've been meaning to read that. I was supposed to for the book club I'm in but it turns out I'm way better at audio books, I should find that one.

i used to be too impatient for audio books but they're growing on me. i love the different voices! and i make the speed 2x.
