a slice of heaven

i've wanted some of this coconut cake ever since i saw it on "food nation with bobby flay" a while back. i was thinking about it today just found out i can order it online, straight from charleston, south carolina!!! what luck!

too bad it's $100.00. plus $114.00 for overnight shipping to provo. (that's $214.00 total for those of you not into math.) ha! a girl can dream though...

i am engaged!

doug proposed today... and i said yes!

to make a longish story shortish, we went up by sundance and ate some sensuous sandwiches. out of nowhere, he whipped out a dozen roses (courtesy of cc&f), got down on one knee (in the wet snow) and pulled out a ring!

if you know me, you might know i like dr. pepper... a lot. i kind of blame adam for this. but i don't drink it very often, partially because they don't sell it on campus, partially because it's bad for you, and partially because it costs money.

well, i got home tonight to find this little number in my fridge:

dublin dr. pepper! made with pure cane sugar! it was shipped in from dublin, texas a.k.a. dr. pepper, texas. i would have drank it already but it looked so nice there in that bottle. and it's past midnight. so instead i took a picture of it and put it on my blog. why not?

thanks hometeacher. bet you didn't even realize i had a dr. pepper obsession going on.
