I started this blog out of boredom my freshman year at BYU. All of my roommates had left for Christmas way before me and I had nothing better to do. I like to think of this blog as my little secret, so when my friends find out about it they become part of the little secret, too. Kind of like the time I played the flute in symphonic band all 4 years of high school and some of my closest friends didn't find out until our last trimester of classes.

As for the Celine Dion references... the fateful night I made this blog I had been listening to Celine Dion's, All the Way... A Decade of Song. It was only fitting I name my blog after one of her songs. But it most songs didn't fit. I couldn't name it "My Heart Will Go On" or "The Power of Love" or "Beauty and the Beast." (That last one would have been too close to my future sister-in-law's former blog name, anyway.) Thus, "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" was the winner! I just really like Celine, always have, always will. Deal with it.

And all the Doug references are because... we're married! Duh. We met around here, were engaged around here, and got married around here.
