nelson and eddy!

in case you didn't know, celine had twins the other day and now she's finally decided on names! nelson, in honor of nelson mandella, and eddy, after eddy marnay, a french songwriter who helped launch celine's career back when she was just 13. they're a little less french sounding than rené-charles, her other son, named after his dad.

no pictures yet... i think she's waiting for the highest bidder! we'll pretend these are them for now:



i'm so glad she didn't go with the celebrity trend of bizarro names... like these:

Kal-El Coppola, Son of Nicolas Cage and Alice Kim (kal-el was superman's birth name)

Pilot Inspektor, Son of actor Jason Lee and Beth Riesgraf (okay, take any word, misspell it, and you have an instant name!)
Sparrow James Midnight, Son of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden (at least they stuck the "james" in there)
