seafood? well ok.

i've never been a seafood person. in fact, i can probably count on one hand how many instances i've eaten seafood in my entire life (besides solid white albacore from a can, of course!) you can't really blame me... idaho's not exactly the seafood capital of the world. neither is utah. but now that we actually live by the sea, i've been easing myself into it.

step 1 - frozen fish filets from ralph's. actually not that bad. then again, at this point I had nothing to compare it to. still don't, really.

step 2 - shrimp tacos from rubio's. kind of grossed me out but i just ignored the fact that it was actually shrimp i was eating. i kept having flashbacks to when my dad brought this big shrimp platter to thomas and caley's apartment the only time i ever went to thomas and caley's apartment. i guess i wasn't in the mood, but it still haunts me for some reason. :shudder:

step 3 - fish and chips at seaport village. i think looking at the ocean while eating fish instills confidence in me. it was really good!

so I guess the next step is eating some sort of seafood that isn't breaded and really bad for me!

in the meantime, please enjoy a couple of photos from our visit to seaport village:

Fish tacos are awesome, that's what I always order at the Cheesecake Factory. And you know, your name means "of the sea."
