today i finished week 4 (of 9) of INSANITY! this is a big deal. i've never stuck with anything this long. to celebrate, we went out to cabrillo nat'l mnm't and balboa park. just kidding, it wasn't to celebrate, it was just for the heck of it. and also just kidding, because we went to cabrillo a couple of weeks ago, not today. whatever.

we took a hike on the bayside trail. which is a trail. by the bay. in case. you wondered.
close up on the artwork (and the reason i took the picture in the first place.) it was really funny when i saw it. maybe you had to be there.

eureka! i mean evreka.
and a candle update: since nobody could give me a reason why yankee candles deserve such a high price tag, i'm doing my own experimentation. results so far:
1. the yankee candle flame is 56% larger than the average candle
2. the yankee candle scent is 12% more pleasant than the average candle
margin of error: ±14 percentage points
more results to come!

Is that insanity workout even legit? It's super expensive. I do P90X sometimes with my friend and it's intense but super long!
Well, I like Insanity because the workouts aren't as long as P90X and it doesn't require me to do any pull ups or lift any weights (both of which I hate). So far I'd say it's pretty legit! I'm stronger and have more endurance than ever before. I've lost a few lbs too. But yeah I've just been borrowing the dvds since I didn't know if I would actually stick with it or not. I almost threw up on day 1 and 2 but it's been smooth sailing ever since! Haha...
