spring, at last!

as of yesterday, it's officially spring! this means i've survived my first southern california winter. boy, was it a rough one.

it started out with some pretty dicey weather at the beach

followed by extremely treacherous road conditions

below 70 temps at disneyland

and icy cold water in the san diego bay

phew, glad that's over! here's the view from my apartment today.

don't let the blue skies fool you, there's actually a bit of a breeze and it was raining earlier. or, the southern california definition of winter weather. i thought this was supposed to be spring!
