obsessed?

i've used to really love those late night infomercials. especially the ones with really sharp knives that cut tomatoes like butter. but one in particular has had a profound influence on my life throughout the years: time life's 70s music explosion, presented by barry williams. every now and then, a 10 second snippet of a 70s "music video" will pop in my head. like gypsies, tramps & thieves*, rich girl, brand new key, saturday in the park... to name a few.

wellll, this music video popped into my head the other day (just the 10 seconds that i remember from my past) and i've watched it an embarrassing amount of times since. seriously, her facial expressions are the best! you cannot watch this and not be in the best mood afterward. at least that's been my experience. which is why i've been watching it every night before bed. to stop the nightmares. jk... haha... ha.

*i'm pretty sure my love of this informercial indirectly or directly influenced my sister's blog title. veronica, back me up on this!

Ask doug how many times we watched the oxy clean infomercial. Or you could ask him about the time we saw ron popiel in the airport.

yes, you're correct about the gypsies, tramps and thieves. i've always felt a little guilty, like it was your thing and i stole it. oh well. jk, if you want it back let me know.

I'm pretty sure I have this song on a 45 (record) that I bought for 1.99 at JC Penney (they had a music dept.) and that I listened to it non-stop when I was 14 years old. I specifically remember listening to it in Portland when I was there visiting Kerri with little Alyssa and Melani.
